For a better future, give children the gift that lasts: education
Too many children aren’t in school. Every year, around 4 million children and young people don't attend school. That's 10% of the population that should be in school!
You can help make sure that children can access quality education and that their future is assured.
Give the gift that lasts today!
Help children get the education they need, wherever they are, whatever their background and circumstance, even in times of crisis.
The gift of learning lasts a lifetime. But not all children receive this gift.
Education is one of the core elements of a child’s growth.
During a child’s schooling years, they learn about science, math and other subjects, and they also develop skills that help them to survive and thrive, express themselves, and relate with others, so they can grow up to be productive adults. Overall, education helps mold them to be good people and citizens.
But a child needs more than school supplies or a chair to be properly and holistically educated. They also need to be healthy and properly nourished, and also require guidance, support, and a safe environment.
War, poverty, and natural disasters disrupt education and make it difficult for children to access, if not altogether unavailable to them.
What can my gift do?
Your gift will help children access quality education and improve their health through our Sustainable Area-Focused and Empowering (SAFE) Programs, which we aim to provide to the most deprived Filipino children. These Programs and Projects include…
The KASALI Project
“Kabataang Aralin sa Lahat Ibahagi”
KASALI is an inclusive education project for children with special needs who often cannot go to regular schools. The program covers rights-based quality education, equity in access to education, and the individual learning needs of each child.
“Build Urban Children’s Resilience against Shocks and Threats of resettlement”
BURST teaches children their rights and helps them become resilient in times of disaster. It also helps children learn about the social accountability of their local officials.
Kapit Bahay-Aralan is a neighborhood-based alternative early learning program for youth in the most remote, impoverished, and marginalized areas. The program aims to provide children the access to quality education they need.
“Nutrition among Urban Poor Through Unified Response”
